    Tony Gemignani knows pizza. He has been recognized as one the foremost authorities  on all aspects of creating pizza. His restaurants, including Tony’s Pizzeria Napoletana and various locations of Pizza Rock have allowed him to showcase different types of pizza. His pizzerias have been places where the pizza lover can discover and rediscover incredible regional styles of pizza.

    Tony has been able to accomplish this through hard work and dedication. As you can see from the tattoos on his hands, his personal mantra is: “Respect the craft.” He is not satisfied with just making great pizza. he wants to share his own love and passion for creating memorable pizza.

    As Peter Reinhart stated to me: “There are only two types of pizza. Good pizza and great pizza.”

    Tony Gemignani makes great pizza. However, he is not content to just make pizza. Ever the master pizzaiolo, he wants to teach others how to make great pizza. If you are lucky enough you can attend his pizza school in San Francisco. but if not you can always get his book. The book is an amazing resource or all things pizza.

    His book, The Pizza Bible: The World’s Favorite Pizza Styles, from Neapolitan, Deep-Dish, Wood-Fired, Sicilian, Calzones and Focaccia to New York, New Haven, Detroit, and moretook the world of pizza by storm. Tony appeared in countless national television shows, newspapers, magazines and newspapers.

    The book shared all of Tony’s secrets for making pizza. This was not a watery version of pizza making, but rather a master class. As you read the book you felt Tony was looking over your shoulder giving you instructions (and encouragement). each step of the way. The book showcases many different styles and types of pizza.

    As Tony told me: “I put everything i know about pizza in this book.”

    Now Tony will be sharing his knowledge and expertise at Pizza Expo.

     

    Tony Gemignani talks about why you should attend Pizza Expo. He will be delivering a keynote address at Pizza Expo. Tony explains that if you want to learn about the pizza business you need to attend Pizza Expo. It’s all about the education of pizza he states. He also declares Pizza Expo the Super Bowl of Pizza!
