Notes from the road.
I’ve been visiting with Rick and Clarissa for the past week and having a blast. Tonight they took me to Rosalee’s Pizzeria in Longmont Colorado. Amy and James own the place, James is the pizziaolo. These people are as crazy about Pizza as you are. They have done the New Haven pizza crawl, Pepe’s, Sally’s, Modern, The Bar, Zuppardi’s. And I have to tell you their pie is right up there with the best.

We ordered a large, and I mean Large, Margarita and a large Sausage pie with homemade sausage after Zuppardi’s. The crust on each was thin, crispy, light as a feather and delicious. I must say Rosalee’s has a friendly neighborhood feel to it, lots of happy pizza eating people.
Listen everyone west of New Haven, you must know there is fabulous pizza to be had west of New Haven. Rick says in his forty years living in Colorado Rosalee’s is the tastiest pie in Colorado he has the pleasure of eating. If you are in the Boulder Colorado area and you want an exceptionally good pizza Rosalee’s has you covered.
