Andris calls this the 72 hour dough. Hands-on time is about 5 minutes, and the actual creation of the bread will take 3 to 4 days. Andris insists the dough recipe is extremely simple and easy. On Monday morning Andris will make his dough for Friday evening. This is a spin on Jim’s recipe. There is a little bit of kneading and a bit more time.

There are a few tools that you will need to create this simple, easy pizza dough recipe

You need the following

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of bread flour
  • 1 gram of yeast
  • 16 grams of salt
  • 1 1/2 cup of water

Mix all dry ingredients together. Pour water into the bowl. Mix all ingredients together. After all ingredients are mixed together turn out mixture on mixing surface and knead together.

Return dough mixture to bowl, cover and let sit a room temperature overnight.

Wait 24 hours. Turn out dough on mixing surface again and lightly flour. Divide dough mixture into 4 parts. Take each piece of pizza dough fold each dough ball into itself.  Be careful not to rip the dough. Gently fold the dough into itself and form a ball. When finished folding dough ball it should be perfectly round. Each dough ball should weight about 220 grams.  Put each dough ball into a lightly oiled plastic container and into the fridge. in the fridge for 48 hours.

Andris explains, it may help to date each container so you know it when it went into the fridge.
